Addie attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011. While practicing physical therapy, she has worked in several settings to include acute care, sub-acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, and pediatrics in Wisconsin, Georgia, and North Carolina. Addie is a military spouse and has always enjoyed working with military personnel since her internships at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Addie was introduced to Postural Restoration as a patient during undergraduate school in 2007. After traditional physical therapy and an exploratory knee arthroscopy failed to decrease pain that had been ongoing since middle school, Postural Restoration allowed her to return to running and sports after only a few treatment sessions. In graduate school, Addie was fortunate to have Postural Restoration included in the curriculum. In 2017 Addie earned her PRC credential from the Postural Restoration Institute.
Outside of work, Addie is running after her two-year-old and four-year-old boys and her 5 month old daughter. Her Great Dane and Boerboel add to the family chaos. Addie and her husband love to travel and occasionally still manage to do so, although not as easily with the youngsters in tow. Addie also enjoys working out, UW Badgers football and basketball, camp fires, beach time, Parks and Rec, reading and lots of coffee.
